Where Profhilo Injections Are Done for Your Eyes

Profhilo treatment is an injectable hyaluronic acid that is typically injected across the face and sometimes the neck at a series of set injection points to allow for even distribution. This is known as the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique and involves hyaluronic acid injections in the upper cheek, nasal base, lower cheek, jawline, and chin. 

The hyaluronic acid injections in the upper cheeks provide the most benefit for the under-eye area, though improvements across the skin of the face create a holistic boost for all of the features, including the eyes.   

What to Expect From Your Profhilo Eye Procedure

Profhilo is administered via a small needle across the face using the BAP technique – five pre-determined injection sites on each side of the face. These are positioned to avoid impeding any major nerves or blood vessels.

For first-time patients, two Profhilo sessions of hyaluronic acid injections are required, spaced one month apart. 

How Long Does It Take to See Results?

Patients can enjoy some of the hydrating and skin rejuvenation effects of Profhilo after the first session, though they will need to wait until both sessions are complete for the full effects to become apparent. This gives the body sufficient time to produce the collagen and elastin that is stimulated when hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin. 

After this, patients can enjoy the results for up to one year and may choose to undergo maintenance sessions annually to ‘top up’ their results.
