Morpheus8

Morpheus8 at the CREO Clinic

The Morpheus8 at our London clinic is used as a noninvasive procedure aimed at improving the tone and texture of the skin, further achieving a more youthful and radiant appearance. It is also used to tighten and reshape facial contours in the face, neck and body, quickly becoming one of our most sought after skin sculpting treatments at our London Clinic.

Morpheus8 is an advanced fractional radio-frequency (RF) treatment which delivers controlled-depth heating through an array of micro-needles. The Morpheus8 technology allows our doctors to safely deliver RF heat energy in different depths of the skin to create controlled trauma in the skin or fat layers, in order to promote collagen and elastin, thus significantly improving the skin on the face and body.

The CREO Clinic’s Medical Director, Dr Omar Tillo, is a double-board certified surgeon trained in using the morpheus8 technology to contour all areas of the body.

How Long Does Morpheus8 Last?

Morpheus8 results are long-lasting, usually requiring maintenance only after 1-2 years. They are not, however, permanent.  It is important to remember that the ageing process in our bodies, and our skin, is continuous. Lifestyle including diet, exercise levels, sun exposure, alcohol and smoking habits, all impact our continued ageing process. In order to contribute to the long-lasting results of your treatment, and your general well-being, we encourage our patients to continually maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Morpheus8 Recovery Time

Downtime varies and depends on the depth of treatment performed. For more superficial skin treatments, you can expect little to no downtime around 24-48 hours, five days for deeper facial treatments and up to one week for body treatments.

Expect your skin to feel tight immediately after treatment, with redness, swelling, possible minor bruising and tenderness lasting for a short while and up to two or three days.

You will notice small, dot-like marks on the skin where the micro-needles have penetrated the surface. These will shrink and heal after one to three days.

Morpheus8 FAQ

How soon can I wear makeup again after a Morpheus8 treatment?

You are advised not to scratch or scrub the area of the skin treated as this can induce infection, scarring or pigmentation changes. Aftercare advice will be provided, however you should expect to avoid wearing makeup up to 2-3 days after your Morpheus8 treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

Face and neck treatments using Morpheus8 last between 30 and 45 minutes, with body treatments lasting approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Who is a good candidate for Morpheus8?

As the Morpheus8 treatment is safe and effective for most skin types and tones, it is a great solution for any patient that prefers to contour and rejuvenate his or her skin texture and contouring without undergoing surgery. Depending on individual cosmetic aims and concerns, our surgeons will determine whether Morpheus8 is the best solution for your desired results.  If you are pregnant or currently breastfeeding you will not be suitable for Morpheus8 treatment and will need to await the period of weaning your child before we can embark on a treatment plan.

What other treatments can Morpheus8 be combined with?

The Morpheus8 treatment is commonly combined with other advanced technology treatments we offer at the CREO Clinic, such as BodyTite. It is also safe to use in combination with a variety of other invasive and noninvasive procedures according to individual goals and desired results that you will discuss with our doctors during your consultation.

How soon after Morpheus8 will I see results?

Although you can expect some immediate tightening as a result of the tissue coagulation caused by the delivery of radio-frequency energy, this is by no means the full extent of your result.  Most importantly, results are not immediate as this treatment is aimed at diminishing fat cells and stimulating the repair of skin cells and collagen production and elastin over time. Accordingly, improvements in skin texture, skin tightness and fat remodelling will continue in the weeks and months after treatment. In addition, you can expect to see further changes and improvements after four to six weeks, with continued improvements after each Morpheus8 treatment session.
