Differences Between Fotona 4D And Morpheus8
Which Treatment Is Better For Your Skin?
Both Fotona 4D and Morpheus8 offer a range of unique aesthetic benefits for your skin, and, therefore, the ‘better’ treatment will depend on what issues you are looking to resolve.
For example, Fotona 4D is a better option for patients wishing to treat the early signs of ageing, like dull skin with mild laxity. Alternatively, Morpheus8 is better for treating skin texture issues like acne scarring as it offers improved skin complexion.
At CREO, we recommend Fotona 4D as it is a more versatile treatment that is less painful and requires less downtime.
Expected Recovery Timelines
Recovery from Fotona 4D is immediate, though patients may experience some redness for the first few days after the skin tightening treatment.
In comparison, downtime can vary more for Morpheus8, depending on the depth of treatment performed. For superficial treatment, downtime should be limited to 24-48 hours. However, for deeper treatments, patients can expect a full recovery in five days.
How Long Do The Results Last?
Both the results from Fotona 4D and Morpheus8 last, on average, for the same amount of time – 1-2 years. After this, maintenance treatments are recommended to ‘top up’ the effects.
At CREO, both treatments are performed by doctors to ensure patient safety and the best possible results. Prices for Fotona 4D start from £795 per session. Alternatively, Morpheus8 costs start from £900 per session.
