Factors Involved in the Price of Profhilo

How the price of Profhilo is determined is best understood through the size of the areas being treated. Profhilo can treat skin laxity in the face, neck, and decolletage – the more areas combined in the facial rejuvenation treatments, the higher the cost of the treatment will be.

The CREO Clinic offers an initial hyaluronic acid treatment of two sessions, which can be highly effective in enhancing the skin, but top-up sessions of Profhilo treatment every 6-9 months may be needed to provide optimal results. Booking three sessions of Profhilo treatment in advance means the third session will be given at a discounted price.

Initial Treatment Session

Generally, the CREO Clinic recommends two Profhilo treatments set one month apart to achieve maximum enhancement to the firmness and texture of the skin. The first treatment session involves a consultation with one of our specialists – she will assess the health of your skin and ask you questions about your medical history. This extra detail will allow her to tailor a treatment plan to your needs.

This first Profhilo treatment involves one injection in five areas on each side of the face:

  • Zygomatic protrusion (i.e. cheekbone)
  • The nasal base (in line with the nostril opening)
  • The tragus (just in front of the external ear)
  • The chin
  • The jawline

The hyaluronic acid is injected in these specific areas as they are designed to optimise skin firming and rejuvenation. Profhilo treatment takes around ten minutes to perform and has no significant downtime.

Follow-Up Session

The second session of Profhilo treatment consists of a second injection – this is usually one month after the initial session. Profhilo injections are made in the same ten areas of the face to complete the treatment.

Maintenance Treatments

To maintain skin rejuvenation over the long term, we find that her patients benefit from maintenance treatments spread out over time. These consist of either one maintenance injection every three months or two injections every six months.

The Cost of Profhilo Vs. Dermal Fillers

In general, the cost of Profhilo skin treatments is lower than traditional dermal fillers. At the CREO Clinic, Profhilo injectable treatments begin from £450 for one session concentrated on the face.

A Profhilo treatment concentrated on both the face and neck begins at £700. Profhilo treatment across the face, neck, and decolletage starts at £950.

On the other hand, the price of dermal filler treatment at the CREO Clinic begins around £350, but this is for one area of the face alone. Other areas can cost more to treat, such as the jaw or cheeks, which begin from £490 for 1ml of filler. It is important to note that the effects of dermal fillers will last longer – sometimes up to 2 years can elapse before a ‘top up’ treatment is necessary.

Price Comparison with Anti-Aging Injections

Other facial aesthetic treatments like anti-wrinkle injections can be used with Profhilo treatment sessions for treating skin laxity and reducing deeper, static wrinkles from forming that can cause the skin to show its age. Anti-wrinkle injections start from £295 for one area, £385 for two areas, and £475 for three areas.

Is Profhilo Treatment Worth the Cost?

Many of our patients find Profhilo treatment to be an excellent way to improve the tone, texture, and wrinkles that come with age. Hyaluronic acid can hydrate the skin while stimulating collagen and elastin production, which can create drastic improvements to the appearance of the skin. This is why the vast majority of patients find Profhilo treatment profoundly valuable.
