How To Prepare for Profhilo Treatment

Prior to your treatment, you should adhere to the following instructions:

• Don’t consume alcohol or ibuprofen in the 48 hours prior to treatment
• Do not schedule any vaccines 3 weeks before or after treatment
• If you suffer from cold sores, you will need acyclovir prophylaxis 3-5 days prior to treatment 

Our Profhilo Treatment Process

Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation with our specialists, your skin will be assessed to determine your suitability for Profhilo. You will be asked about your aesthetic goals to better understand how Profhilo can help your skin. 

Procedure

Profhilo injections consist of two treatment sessions, spaced four weeks apart. Injections are made across five different points on both sides of the face, ensuring that the product is evenly covering the skin. 

Recovery Guidelines

After Profhilo treatment, you will be able to return to daily activities immediately, but should ensure that you adhere to all of the recommendations given by your doctor to promote a smooth recovery. 

Expected Timeline for Results

You will be able to see some results one week after the first treatment, with skin appearing smoother and more hydrated. However, you will need to wait for collagen and elastin to be produced before you can fully appreciate the effects of Profhilo, which can take up to 4-6 weeks after the second treatment

Potential Side Effects of Profhilo Treatment

After your treatment, you may experience some mild side effects such as swelling and redness. These typically dissipate within a few days. 

Tips for Maintaining Skin Post-Profhilo Treatment
