What is BodyTite?
BodyTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery procedure used in conjunction with liposuction or as a stand alone treatment to contour the body.
BodyTite is performed to contour the body, eliminate fat and tighten the skin simultaneously. In the right hands, this minimally invasive treatment by Inmode creates the final touch of fine contouring to many cosmetic surgeries but also as a stand alone treatment. Simply put, it is an advanced method of liposuction which uses radio-frequency (RF) energy to simultaneously tighten the skin while permanently removing fat cells. BodyTite is considered to be the most effective body sculpting treatment in the plastic surgery industry.
BodyTite can be performed in conjunction with traditional liposuction, abdominoplasty, gynecomastia surgery, arm lift or thigh lift. If you are considering having a BodyTite in London, contact CREO Clinic today and we’ll help you make the best decision for your cosmetic goals.

How Much Does BodyTite Cost?
The BodyTite cost in London will depend on the size of the area that you are treating. You will discuss a bespoke solution and price with our plastic surgeon. However, prices for this cosmetic procedure start from £5,500. Our BodyTite procedure in London can also be combined with other cosmetic treatments, priced separately.
Advantages of Choosing BodyTite
- A minimally invasive cosmetic procedure, entirely performed with a tiny incision.
- Cost-effective when compared to a traditional liposuction procedure, as BodyTite performs in a dual capacity, by tightening the skin and removing fat.
- A cosmetic procedure that can be performed under local anaesthetic rather than general anaesthesia.
- Risks associated with traditional cosmetic surgery are significantly reduced.
What Parts of the Body Can be Treated with BodyTite?
- Abdomen (‘muffin tops’, hanging belly after C-section)
- Back (‘love handles’, bra bulges)
- Chest (‘man boobs’ or gynecomastia)
- Inner and outer thighs (‘saddlebags’)
- Upper arms (‘bingo arms’)
Who is a good candidate for BodyTite?
BodyTite is ideal for patients with small pockets of fat around the body which they are unable to address through changes in diet or exercise. Moreover, patients with lax skin alongside fatty accumulations, such as a ‘post-pregnancy tummy’, where the skin has been stretched, are ideal patients for this cosmetic procedure. This makes it an ideal alternative to a surgical tummy tuck in many cases.
BodyTite is not a weight loss solution and is best suited to those with a relatively normal BMI. The ideal patient for this procedure is looking to achieve additional body sculpting and reshaping.
If you are pregnant or currently breastfeeding you will not be suitable for a BodyTite procedure and will need to await the period of weaning your child before we can embark on a treatment plan.
During a consultation with Dr. Tillo, you will discuss the areas of stubborn body fat that concern you and whether BodyTite is the best option for you. A full medical history will be taken during your consultation to uncover any allergies, medication administration or other factors which might be unsuitable for any of the treatments that we offer.
What can I expect during a BodyTite treatment?
To start, your plastic surgeon will mark the areas on your body to be treated with BodyTite. Numbing solutions will then be introduced under the skin to eliminate pain or discomfort of the procedure.
Following that, your surgeon will create small entry points, approximately 2-3 mm wide, which will enable the BodyTite’s cannula to enter under the skin and deliver radiofrequency energy in order to extract fat cells.
These entry points are carefully positioned to be hidden and will swiftly heal following the procedure, minimising any scarring.
The BodyTite handpiece consists of a probe, which is also an aspirating cannula, that enters the skin, and an electrode that is placed above it, and outside of the skin. The cannula will be moved around the fat layer whilst the electrode glides along the surface on a thin layer of gel applied for easy gliding.
The procedure takes approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the area being treated.
How many treatments will I need?
Our surgeons will complete your BodyTite procedure in one treatment session. If necessary, you can repeat the procedure after 12 months.
Does BodyTite hurt?
Our surgeons perform BodyTite treatment under local anaesthesia injected to the treated area to avoid any discomfort. The process of placing the anaesthesia, which is an infiltration liquid, can be a little uncomfortable for some people.
For those who prefer it, or are especially sensitive to pain, BodyTite can also be performed under sedation.
Our plastic surgeons are experts in pain management and will make sure that you are comfortable throughout the procedure.
How long does it take to heal from BodyTite?
A follow-up appointment is usually required after 24 hours to change dressings and evaluate the healing process. You can expect to return to your normal activities, including work, after 2 or 3 days.
Returning to intense exercise would require more time and is usually possible after 3 – 6 weeks depending on the extent of treatment and or individual healing factors.
What are the possible side effects of BodyTite?
Expect swelling, redness, pain, tenderness and bruising after the BodyTite treatment which will usually resolve within a week. Some of the initial swelling is due to the local anaesthetic fluid used during the procedure.
The incisions are small and heal quickly without stitching required. However, in the first 24 hours you can expect leaking of this fluid from the small incisions which will be dressed to prevent infection.
What results can I expect?
Fat reduction induced by BodyTite is immediately visible. You will be able to see a difference in skin tightness and circumference of an area immediately.
Further improvements will be noticeable once any swelling and bruising have subsided and as this procedure stimulates a wound healing response.
Continuous tightening will occur over the next 2 to 4 months to achieve your new sculpted look.
How long does BodyTite last?
Results from a BodyTite procedure are expected to last 2-4 years, and the procedure can be repeated after 12 months.
