Lipo 360 and BBL

Lipo 360 And Bbl

Combining complementary body contouring procedures can produce dramatic results. During a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), your own body fat, in areas such as the abdomen, is removed and injected into the buttocks. This boosts the voluminous nature of the buttock and enhances the overall silhouette by contouring the region where fat is removed.

‘Lipo 360’ is circumferential liposuction, removing fat around the entire midsection to contour the area. In this article, we will explore how Lipo 360 and BBL treatments can be combined to get even better results.

What is Lipo 360?

Lipo 360 removes excess fat across the entire circumference of the midsection, covering the upper and lower abdomen, the flanks, and the mid-to-lower back.

Benefits

Traditional liposuction focuses on removing fat cells from smaller, targeted areas. By removing excess fat from across the entire circumference of the midline, Lipo 360 is a more efficient procedure that creates more comprehensive results.

Treatment Areas

Lipo 360 is circumferential and includes the upper and lower abdominals, the obliques, and the mid-to-lower back. Overall, this creates a more toned and contoured midriff region.

What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

A Brazilian Butt Lift is a cosmetic procedure involving fat transfer from one part of the body via liposuction to the buttocks. This helps to contour the areas where fat is taken from, as well as creating a more voluminous butt.

Benefits

A Brazilian butt lift procedure benefits from utilising the body’s own fat instead of using foreign implants or injections, which significantly reduces the risk of any allergic reactions. In addition, this fat transfer benefits from toning the areas where fat is removed, like the abdomen and thighs, on top of create a curvier posterior. Overall, this helps to create a more contoured physique.

Safety

Ensuring patient safety and comfort during and after a Brazilian butt lift procedure is of utmost importance. As such, at the CREO Clinic, our cosmetic surgeon Dr Omar Tillo has pioneered the Buttock Enhancement and Superficial Transfer of Fat (BEST-F). This is a safer variation of the traditional BBL, which typically involves injecting large quantities of fat into or under the gluteal muscle. Instead, with the BEST-F technique, fat is superficially injected over the gluteal muscle, which significantly reduces the risk of fatal fat embolisms.

Combining Lipo 360 and BBL

Benefits

Combining liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift has two main benefits. First, it contours and gives greater definition to the area where fat is removed. Secondly, injecting the fat into the butt creates a rounder and more voluminous figure. Overall, the two complementary procedures help to accentuate an hourglass figure, with the contoured areas further enhancing each other.

Cost

The typical cost for a cosmetic surgery combining liposuction and a BBL at the CREO Clinic starts from £12,900. The procedure cost is dependent on the number of areas where liposuction is required, and the amount of fat transferred. An exact cost breakdown will be provided following a 1-on-1 consultation with our surgeon Dr Omar Tillo, where you can determine the right treatment plan for you and your body.

Procedure

For your Lipo 360 and Brazilian butt lift procedures, you will be put under general anaesthetic by our anaesthetist. After this, a set of small incisions are made in the target areas, so the surgeon can use the liposuction device to break up and remove the excess fat.

At the CREO Clinic, we use Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL). This is a safe and effective method to remove small-to-moderate amounts of fat for the purpose of body contouring. PAL uses quick vibrations and oscillations to break up fat, which is then removed.

After this, the incisions are closed and the removed fat is purified. This can then be injected into the buttock, using the BEST-F technique, through another set of small incisions. An ultrasound scan is also used to help guide where the fat is inserted, ensuring that no fat enters the gluteal muscle. Finally, the incisions are closed.

Recovery

Following this cosmetic surgery, you may experience some side effects such as swelling and bruising, both in the midsection where you have had liposuction, and in the buttocks. Your surgeon will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure your comfort and facilitate the smoothest recovery.

In general, patients are usually able to return to work and most daily activities 2-3 weeks after this plastic surgery. However, patients should wait up to 6-8 weeks to recommence strenuous exercise. In addition, patients will have to wear a compression garment for at least the first six weeks to minimise swelling and further contour the areas.

Results

Immediately after your cosmetic surgery, your butt will be much more voluminous than originally expected. This is because of post-surgical swelling and an excess inserted by your doctor to account for the 30-50% of fat grafts that your body will later absorb during the first 3-6 months. After this, swelling should have dissipated, and you will be able to appreciate the full result of your newly shaped butt, as well as a more slender and toned midline.
