The Benefits of Combining 360 Lipo and a BBL

The Benefits Of Combining 360 Lipo And A Bbl

Combining complementary body contouring procedures like 360 Lipo (called Lipo 360 in the United States) and a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) can produce dramatic results. During a Brazilian butt lift, excess fat deposits are removed from areas around the body, such as the upper or lower abdomen, and are injected into the buttocks. This boosts the voluminous nature of the buttock and enhances the overall silhouette by contouring the region where your own body fat is removed.

360 Lipo is circumferential liposuction, a surgical procedure to remove fat around the entire midsection to contour the area. In this article, we will explore how the fat deposits from 360 Lipo can be used in a BBL to further sculpt the figure, and detail the unique benefits of combining these procedures.

To enjoy the transformative benefits of a combined BBL and liposuction procedure, book a consultation today with Dr. Omar Tillo, the CREO clinic’s highly experienced body contouring specialist.

What is 360 Lipo?

360 Lipo removes excess fat across the entire circumference of the midsection, covering the upper and lower abdomen, the flanks, and the mid-to-lower back. In total, 360 Lipo treats four different areas with liposuction.

Benefits of 360 Lipo

Traditional liposuction focuses on removing fat cells from smaller, targeted areas. By removing excess fat from around the entire circumference of the midline, 360 Lipo is a more efficient surgical procedure that creates more comprehensive results than regular liposuction.

Treatment Areas for 360 Lipo

360 Lipo is circumferential and includes the upper and lower abdominals, the obliques, and the mid-to-lower back. Overall, this creates a more toned and contoured midriff.

What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

A Brazilian butt lift is a cosmetic procedure involving the transfer of fat from one part of the body via liposuction to the buttocks, hips, or both the buttocks and the hips, for a more holistic look. This helps to contour the areas where fat is taken from, as well as creating a more voluminous butt.

Benefits of a BBL

A Brazilian butt lift procedure performed using Dr. Tillo’s BEST-F technique has many transformative benefits, such as:

  • Enhanced curves – The procedure helps to sculpt more voluminous buttocks and create a natural-looking ‘hourglass’ figure.
  • Reduced ‘hip dips – A BBL can help reduce naturally occurring indentations at the hips that prevent the butt from having a rounder silhouette.
  • Removes fat – Stubborn pockets of fat are extracted from different areas, such as the thighs or abdomen, helping you achieve an ideal body weight and contouring those areas as well as the butt.
  • Instant results Immediate results that are impossible to achieve with exercise alone
  • No foreign implants – Only autologous fat (from your body) is used, avoiding the need for buttock implants or dermal fillers.

BBL Safety Considerations

Ensuring patient safety and comfort during and after a BBL is of the utmost importance.

As such, at the CREO Clinic, Dr. Tillo has pioneered the Buttock Enhancement and Superficial Transfer of Fat (BEST-F). This is a safer variation of the traditional BBL, which typically involves injecting large quantities of fat cells into or under the gluteal muscle.

Instead, with the BEST-F technique, fat is superficially injected over the gluteal muscle, which significantly reduces the risk of fatal fat embolisms.

Combining 360 Lipo and BBL

What are the Benefits?

Combining 360 Lipo and a BBL has two main benefits: Firstly, the combination of procedures contours and gives greater definition to the full 360 degree circumference of the abdomen by removing stubborn fat. The effect of this on the results of your BBL can be dramatic, as streamlining the abdomen further accentuates the fullness of your post-BBL buttocks.

A single or two area liposuction treatment is highly effective for light contouring, but cannot give the same prominence to your butt as the more comprehensive 360 Lipo procedure.

Secondly, a combined 360 Lipo and BBL injects the fat extracted from other areas of the body across the buttocks, creating a rounder, more voluminous bottom with natural-looking results.

Overall, the two complementary procedures help to accentuate a highly desirable hourglass figure, with the contoured areas further enhancing each other.

How Much Does a Combined BBL and Liposuction Procedure Cost?

The typical cost for a cosmetic surgery combining liposuction and a BBL at the CREO Clinic starts from £12,900. The procedure cost is dependent on the number of areas where liposuction is required, and the amount of fat transferred.

An exact cost breakdown will be provided following a 1-on-1 consultation with our surgeon Dr. Omar Tillo, where you can determine the right treatment plan for you and your body.

If you would prefer to spread the cost of your combined BBL and liposuction over multiple instalments, our financing partner, Chrysalis Finance, offers 12 months of payments at 0% APR. Varying lengths of time are available at alternate rates.

How the Combined 360 Lipo and BBL Procedure Works

For your 360 Lipo and BBL procedures, a set of small incisions are made in the target areas so the surgeon can use the liposuction device to break up and remove excess fat.

At the CREO Clinic, we use Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL). This is a safe and effective method to remove small-to-moderate amounts of your own fat for the purpose of body contouring. PAL uses quick vibrations and oscillations to break up stubborn fat, which is then removed. It is considered the best technique for 360 Lipo as its gentle vibrations mean less force is required for the fat removal, reducing the risk of damaging the tissues.

After this, the incisions are closed and the removed fat is purified. This is then be injected into the buttock, using the BEST-F technique, through another set of small incisions. An ultrasound scan is also used to help guide the fat injections, ensuring that no fat enters the gluteal muscle. Finally, the incisions are closed.

Recovery from Lipo 360 with a BBL

Following surgery, you may experience some swelling and bruising, both in the midsection where you have had liposuction, and in the buttocks. Your surgeon will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure your comfort and facilitate the smoothest recovery.

In general, patients are able to return to work after ten days and resume most daily activities 2-3 weeks after surgery. However, patients should wait up to 6-8 weeks to resume strenuous workouts. In addition, patients will have to wear a compression garment for at least the first six weeks to minimise swelling.

What Results Can You Expect?

Immediately after a combined 360 Lipo and BBL surgery, your butt will be much more voluminous than originally expected. This is because of post-surgical swelling and an excess of body fat inserted by your doctor to compensate for the 30-50% of the fat grafts that your body will absorb during the first 3-6 months. You will also pass through the fluffing stage – this is the period where the fat grafts may appear inflamed and feel hard to the touch. After 6-8 weeks the fat should have fully ‘fluffed’ and become softer and smoother.

One common concern many patients have before undergoing Lipo 360 and a BBL procedure is the possibility of excess skin. However, these combined treatments are designed not only to remove unwanted fat but also to contour and shape your body, which can help to minimise the appearance of loose skin.

After 6 months have passed, any residual swelling should have dissipated, and you will be able to appreciate the full results of your newly shaped butt, as well as a more slender and toned midline.
