The Procedure Day

• Do not eat or drink for several hours before your surgery, as instructed by your care team
• You’ll be marked for surgery so Dr. Tillo can plan the precise placement of your implants or fat transfer
• Dr. Tillo makes small incisions to insert implants or inject purified fat into your breasts
• After surgery, you’ll spend time in recovery while our team monitors you
• Most women return home the same day, with a friend or family member there to accompany them

Recovery Timeline

As you recover, you’ll have regular check-ins with Dr. Tillo to make sure you’re healing properly. Here’s what you can generally expect:

• Immediately after surgery: Expect soreness, swelling, and tightness around the  breasts. You’ll return home the same day with a compression garment to support healing.
• Weeks 1–2: Side effects gradually subside. Most women feel ready to return to work and light activities after this period.
• Weeks 3–6: You’ll continue to heal and wear your compression garment as instructed. By the six-week mark, most women are cleared to return to normal workouts and daily routines.
