In general, a mummy makeover takes between 4-6 hours to perform. The exact procedure can vary depending on the surgical combination you choose and the different techniques being used. 

Typically, Dr. Tillo first performs liposuction, followed by a breast augmentation, and then finishes with the tummy tuck. However, Dr. Tillo will design and discuss a bespoke surgical procedure with you during a consultation.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgery reshapes and adds volume to the breasts, either through fat transfer or via implants. This is ideal for women that are left with deflated and saggy breasts following pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Tummy Tuck

What Is Recovery Like From A Mummy Makeover?

The recovery period following a mummy makeover is dependent on a range of factors such as your surgical combination and the size of the areas being treated. Abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is typically the most invasive of the three procedures, and therefore takes the longest to heal. 

As a general rule, patients that undergo a mummy makeover can expect to return to work and light exercise within two weeks and then resume their full daily routine (including intense exercise) within 2-3 months.
