At the CREO Clinic, Dr Omar Tillo performs liposuction procedures on all areas of the body from the neck down. In this article, we’ll explain how we calculate the cost of your liposuction procedure, including any additional costs you may incur to ensure you don’t encounter any hidden fees when scheduling your surgery.
How Much Does Liposuction Cost?
Generally, for small areas such as the neck, we charge £3,900, and for large areas such as the abdomen, we charge £4,500. Furthermore, we charge £5,900 for two large sections, £7,900 for three, £8,500 for four, and £1,000 for each additional area.
For each patient, the cost of the treatment will depend on the size of the treatment areas, the liposuction technology, and the overall complexity of the surgery. Therefore, you will receive the price of your liposuction treatment after consulting with our plastic surgeon, who will design a bespoke surgery to produce your desired results.
Liposuction Treatment Areas
Our liposuction surgeons perform traditional liposuction, a minimally invasive procedure, on targeted areas of the body containing excess fat that the patient wishes to contour. The image below details each body part that we can sculpt with a liposuction.
What’s Included in the Price?
The prices mentioned above are inclusive of anaesthetics, surgeon’s fees, nurses’s fees, use of the surgical facility, liposuction technology (such as PAL, Vaser, and BodyTite), compression garments, and up to three follow-up visits at the clinic.
Additional Liposuction Costs
Your surgeon will prescribe pain medication to take while you recover from cosmetic surgery, which you will need to buy yourself. If necessary, you may arrange further follow-up appointments, medical tests, and chaperone services for an additional fee.
Additionally, we will price any cosmetic treatments you choose to undergo in addition to liposuction separately.
Liposuction Combination Procedures
Many liposuction patients combine their liposuction procedure with other body contouring procedures to further sculpt and define their silhouette. Furthermore, doing so is more cost-effective and convenient as patients can save on some costs and combine the recovery time for all treatments. In particular, it’s common for patients to undergo the following surgeries with liposuction:
Fat transfer is a cosmetic surgery that extracts excess fat through liposuction surgery and injects it into a part of the body that the patient wishes to enhance. In particular, Brazilian Butt Lift and breast augmentation are two popular surgeries that add volume through fat transfer.
Our surgeons perform fat transfer treatments on the same areas outlined in the above diagram. Therefore, as with liposuction, the cost of a fat transfer treatment depends on the number and size of the sections you wish to treat. In general, prices for a fat transfer surgery start from £4,500.
A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, is a surgery that removes excess skin and unwanted body fat from the abdomen, and in some cases, tightens the abdominal muscles. Surgeons use liposuction during a tummy tuck when patients have a significant amount of excess fat in the abdomen and want to define the muscles. In general, prices for a tummy tuck surgery start from £7,500.
Gynecomastia, commonly called ‘man boobs’, is a condition that leads to the enlargement of breast tissue in men. In many cases, the accumulation of excess fat in the chest can cause or accentuate gynecomastia. In such cases, surgeons use liposuction alone or with gynecomastia surgery, also known as male breast reduction. In general, prices for a gynecomastia procedure start from £6,900.
Is Liposuction Worth It?
Liposuction is generally considered a worthwhile procedure by most patients who have undergone it. The surgery helps them reach their desired figure by removing fat deposits resistant to a healthy diet and exercise. In addition, liposuction produces permanent results and does not leave noticeable scars. You may experience some minor bruising and swelling but the recovery period is short.
