Skinny Brazilian Butt Lift at CREO Clinic
Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a surgery that adds volume to the butt through fat transfer. At the CREO Clinic, Dr Omar Tillo uses the BEST-F technique to perform the procedure, which he developed as a safer alternative to the traditional BBL.
As surgeons need to perform liposuction to prepare the fat grafts, patients need to have enough excess fat for the procedure. Thus, most patients have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 23-28. However, skinnier patients with a BMI below this range may still qualify for a BBL and experience great results.
Benefits of BBL Surgery
A BBL is a popular surgery as it enhances and contours the butt and sculpts other areas of the body with liposuction, helping patients achieve their ideal figure. In particular, skinny patients seek a BBL to add curves to their bodies and achieve an hourglass figure. Lean patients often have small pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, which surgeons are able to remove with liposuction and transfer to the hips and buttocks to improve the appearance of hip dips and buttock deflation.
Skinny BBL Cost in London
In general, the cost of a skinny BBL at the CREO clinic in London starts from £7,900. The price of a BBL varies depending on each patient’s surgical needs, including the number of areas requiring liposuction.
For a skinny BBL, the surgeon may need to cultivate fat from multiple areas of the body as there may not be enough excess fat tissue in one location. Thus, the procedure may be more expensive than a regular BBL. You will receive the exact cost of your surgery during your consultation.
BBL Shapes
In addition to enhancing your butt, a BBL also reshapes it to provide the curves and contours you want. There are three main BBL shapes that patients request when consulting their surgeon:

A-shape (or upside-down heart): In an A-shaped butt, the upper region is smaller than the lower region, thus resembling an A-shape. People with A-shaped bottoms tend to have an hourglass figure, with a slim waist and wide hips.

O-shape (or bubble butt): An o-shaped butt is round in shape and has equal amounts of fat in the upper and lower regions. Most patients who want this shape have what is commonly called a ‘double bubble’ body shape, where they have excess fat in their love handles and lateral thighs.
Curvy: Many people who want a BBL desire a slightly curvy figure without exaggerating their butt into an A or O shape. The surgeon has significant control over the volume and projection of the fat grafts, allowing them to customise the shape of the curves.
Skinny Brazilian Butt Lift Procedure
First, the surgeon uses liposuction to remove excess fat from the surrounding areas of the buttocks, such as the stomach, hips, and thighs. Afterwards, the surgeon injects the fat into specific areas of the buttocks to produce your desired BBL shape.
As skinnier patients are likely to have less fat, the surgeon will likely perform liposuction on multiple areas of the body. The surgeon can still make a visible change to the butt in leaner patients using less fat. Thus, the surgeon may be able to achieve your desired enhancement, projection, and shape despite having fewer fat grafts than the average BBL patient.
To perform the BEST-F technique, Dr Tillo injects the fat grafts superficially above the gluteal muscle and uses a guided ultrasound device to monitor the fat placement. Thus, it significantly reduces the risk of fat embolisms while enabling the surgeon to produce a more precise shape.
Recovery
You may experience swelling and bruising in your buttocks and around the area where you had liposuction, which will gradually subside over the following weeks. Most patients can return to office work and light daily activities after 2-3 weeks. Follow our BBL aftercare and recovery tips to manage your recovery process and preserve your results.
Results
It usually takes six months for the final BBL results to become apparent, as, by that time, the swelling will completely subside, and the fat cells will have stabilised. At this point, you will have gone through the fluffing phase of your recovery, where your skin stretches to accommodate the fat grafts, which produces a curvier butt that feels natural.
Skinny BBL FAQ
How much fat is needed for skinny BBL?
The amount of fat required will depend on your BMI. On average, surgeons extract around 1-2 litres of fat through liposuction and inject around 0.5-1 litre of fat into each buttock to create a pronounced enhancement. However, slimmer patients may require less fat to create curves and a noticeable enhancement to the butt.
Can you get substantial results from a skinny BBL?
The volume and projection you will achieve from a BBL will depend on the amount of fat tissue that the surgeon can harvest. Thus, patients who don’t have much body fat are more likely to get a modest enhancement from the surgery. Buttock implants, alone or in combination with fat transfer, may be more suitable for skinnier patients who want a dramatic enhancement.
What is the difference between skinny BBL and regular BBL?
A skinny BBL is a regular BBL surgery for leaner patients, usually with a BMI below 22. However, both procedures require the same surgical techniques, with the only difference being the amount of fat that the surgeon harvests and transfers into the buttock.
Should I gain weight for a Brazilian butt lift?
We do not recommend that you gain weight for a Brazilian butt lift unless you wish to remain the same weight after your procedure. Losing weight after surgery causes your fat cells to shrink, including the fat grafts in your butt, which in turn will diminish the results of your surgery.
Can I get rid of hip dips with a skinny BBL?
Yes, a skinny BBL can get rid of hip dips by transferring fat into the area. Visit our blog on BBL for Hip Dips for more information.
