How Does Thread Vein (Spider Vein) Laser Treatment Work?

Fotona’s long-pulse Nd:YAG laser deeply penetrates the skin to reach the targeted blood vessels without damaging the overlying skin or surrounding tissues. The wavelength used is attracted to the haemoglobin, causing homogeneous heating which affects the blood vessels alone, causing the blood to coagulate and the walls of the veins to collapse.
