How Much Does a Mini BBL Cost?

Mini BBL Procedure
A Mini BBL can be carried out under sedation and typically takes 1-2 hours to complete.
To begin, small incisions are made in the upper thighs and lower flanks through which a suction cannula is inserted. The required amount of fat is then broken up with ease using Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL) and safely removed. Finally, the surgeon closes the incisions using stitches.
The removed fat is then purified and prepared for injection into the hips and buttocks. The exact placement of these injections will vary depending on which areas patients wish to add volume. Importantly, the fat is injected over the gluteal muscle using the BEST-F technique, and an ultrasound scanner is used to further ensure that no fat is injected into the muscle. Finally, stitches are used to close the incision sites.
How Long is Mini BBL Recovery?
Your surgeon will provide you with thorough aftercare instructions to ensure you have the smoothest possible recovery. Immediately after surgery, you may experience side effects such as swelling and soreness in both the liposuction and fat transfer sites. The exact amount of downtime required varies from patient to patient but is typically less significant than a full BBL.
In general, patients usually feel able to resume light, daily activities, including a return to work, after one week. However, patients will need to wait 2-3 weeks before engaging in light exercise after their mini BBL.
Three months after surgery, patients can also expect to experience a ‘fluffing stage’, a 6-8 week period in which the skin expands to accommodate the injected fat grafts. After the buttock has fluffed, it should look and feel more natural.
When Can You See Results From a Mini BBL?
Following your Mini BBL, you will be able to immediately notice your more contoured lower flanks and upper thighs. Your buttocks may appear significantly more voluminous than expected due to post surgical-swelling as well as the fat grafts.
