Different Areas Treated By Face Fillers

Under Eye Fillers

As we age, it is common to lose volume in the tear trough, creating a hollowed out appearance under the eyes. In addition, some patients naturally lack volume in this area.

Dermal and hyaluronic acid fillers can dramatically enhance the under eye area, including the tear trough, by adding small amounts of volume. This can help to plump up the skin, reducing the hollowed appearance of the under eye while smoothing out any fine lines and wrinkles. As a result, patients can enjoy more youthful eyes.

Cheek Fillers

Many patients wish to enhance the contours of their facial profile, creating a more defined appearance. By using cheek filler, any volume loss due to ageing can be restored, and the shape of the face can be modified, correcting any asymmetries.

Lip Fillers

As the lips are one of our most prominent facial features, many patients wish to enhance the shape of the area. By carefully adding small amounts of dermal filler, patients can enjoy a fuller, more symmetrical pout that has a smoother texture. In some cases, patients may opt to receive a small amount of natural filler like hyaluronic acid filler to only the upper lip for more subtle lip enhancement.

Nose Fillers

At CREO, we specialise in non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as rhinofiller. This involves the use of dermal fillers to alter the shape of the nose, smoothing out any asymmetries or small bumps. Patients may choose this treatment as an alternative to surgical rhinoplasty, or as a way to “try out” how the results may look before committing to a more invasive procedure.

Forehead Fillers

Lines on the forehead area, also known as frown lines, can develop due to the weight of the upper eyelid and brow and become more prominent as we age. Using dermal fillers in this area can reduce the appearance of forehead wrinkles, creating a more youthful aesthetic.

Marionette Lines

Marionette lines are lip lines that run from the mouth to the chin, and typically become more visible as we age and lose elasticity in the skin. Dermal fillers can smooth out the appearance of marionette lines for a more youthful lower face.

Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds, also known as nose-to-mouth lines or smile lines, are deep lines located on the sides of the mouth that become more visible when smiling and as we age. Dermal fillers and hyaluronic acid injections can be used to support nasolabial folds with cheek filler, lifting the area and making these smile lines less visible.

How to Prepare for Your Fillers

Prior to dermal filler treatment, you will be asked to follow several preparations to ensure the best results:

  • Although you will be ready to get back to daily activities immediately, please ensure that you do not have any big social events coming up in the 2 weeks after your treatment to give yourself time to fully recover.
  • Do not drink alcohol or take Ibuprofen in the 48 hours before treatment to reduce swelling and bruising.
  • Avoid wearing makeup on the day of treatment.

When You Can Expect Results

The effects of facial fillers are usually visible immediately after treatment. However, you will need to wait for the filler to settle into its intended position and for any swelling to dissipate before you can enjoy the full effect of dermal fillers.
