Profhilo Vs Seventy Hyal: Which Is Right For You?

Profhilo Vs Seventy Hyal

Both Profhilo and Seventy Hyal are injectable skin boosters that can address dehydrated skin, skin textural issues, fine lines and wrinkles. However, there are differences between the two, and it is important to know the benefits of each before deciding which one is right for you.

This article explores both Profhilo and Seventy Hyal in depth, making comparisons and providing an informed profile of each skin booster treatment based on our practitioners’ clinical experience. This will help you understand which skin booster is appropriate for your needs.

Two Hyaluronic Acid Treatments: Profhilo vs. Seventy Hyal

What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid based skin remodelling treatment. It works by encouraging production of collagen and elastin, firming up the dermis and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment has many benefits, working to make long-term improvements to the quality of your skin, leaving the treated areas looking refreshed with a healthy, natural-looking glow.

Profhilo can be used on the neck, face, décolletage, arms, or the skin of the hands to target the skin texture, laxity, and wrinkles that are common in these areas. Profhilo treatments are recommended for people who are thirty years old and over.

What is Seventy Hyal?

Like Profhilo, Seventy Hyal is a hyaluronic acid based treatment that delivers deep hydration into the skin and works to reduce wrinkles.

Seventy Hyal is a product marketed as providing similar results to Profhilo, but products making claims such as this often appear in the cosmetic industry, and high quality comparative research between products is often not available.

In the experience of CREO Clinic’s team of aesthetic practitioners, Profhilo produces better results than Seventy Hyal. They consider Seventy Hyal consumables to be of a lower quality than Profhilo, which is why we always recommend Profhilo for targeted skin hydration and comprehensive skin rejuvenation. How Does Hyaluronic Acid Treatment Work?

Target Areas

One of the most common areas for hyaluronic acid treatments is the face. Seventy Hyal, for example, can be used to treat the face, neck, hands, cheeks, forehead and under eyes. Profhilo is able to treat the face, neck, décolletage, arms and the backs of the hands. Profhilo is not used under the eyes, but our aesthetic team recommends Plenhyage XL polynucleotides to improve skin quality in this area.

For treatments of the face, injections are made at five different points on both sides of the face – these are called Bio Aesthetic Points (BAPs). This delivery system is designed to spread the hyaluronic acid gel evenly to maximise its effectiveness. A similar process of injections spread across the treatment area is followed for the neck, décolletage or arms.

Does The Treatment Hurt?

No, Profhilo and Seventy Hyal injectable treatments should not be painful, but you may experience a small scratching sensation as you would with any injection. A numbing cream can be applied to the skin treatment area before the injection is made to minimise any pain.

Recovery Process

There is very little downtime necessary for a Profhilo, Seventy Hyal, or other skin boosters treatments, and most patients find themselves able to return to work or their daily routine immediately after the treatment. Some side-effects, such as inflammation or redness can occur, but should subside within a few days.

When Will I See The Results?

You will see initial results approximately one week after your first treatment – your skin will appear firmer, smoother, and more hydrated. The full effects of your enhanced collagen and elastin production can take around 4-6 weeks after your second treatment, after which the skin will appear revitalised and present with a healthy glow.

The Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid For Your Skin

Hyaluronic acid skin boosters can provide many benefits and improvements to the skin, such as:

  • Improvements to skin quality – The skin’s firmness, texture, and levels of hydration are given a significant boost through stimulation of greater collagen and elastin production.
  • Non-invasive – Hyaluronic acid injections are nonsurgical and painless
  • No downtime – Skin boosters do not require any downtime and most patients can return to work the same day
  • Natural-looking results – Skin boosters stimulate your body’s natural processes to improve the skin, meaning the results look and feel natural
  • Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles – Targeted skin booster injections smooth out fine lines and wrinkles by increasing hydration and collagen/elastin production

How Long Do The Effects Last?

The effects of Profhilo can last for up to 6-9 months from the day of your second treatment. After this, you may need a top up treatment to maintain the improvements to your skin. It is claimed that Seventy Hyal results last between 6-12 months, but our doctors have found that the effects of Profhilo last longer than Seventy Hyal on average.

Who Is The Ideal Candidate For This Treatment?

The ideal candidate for Profhilo or Seventy Hyal injections should:

  • Want to treat the early signs of ageing and revitalise the skin
  • Be interested in firming up the skin and reducing wrinkles via greater collagen and elastin production
  • Want to try an initial treatment for skin laxity and wrinkles that does not involve invasive surgery

Cost Comparison: Profhilo Vs. Seventy Hyal

At the CREO Clinic, the cost of Profhilo treatment begins from £450 for one session. In general, our team of aesthetic practitioners recommends a treatment consisting of three sessions – the cost of which begins from £970 if booked in advance.

Should you wish to spread the cost of your Profhilo treatment over multiple installments, our financing partner, Chrysalis Finance, offers a variety of financing options.

The average cost of Seventy Hyal skin treatments in the UK is between £150-400 per session.
