Dr. Daniel Del Vecchio is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a leader in his field of fat transfer procedures. Dr. Del Vecchio has clinical experience across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy, and travels once a month from the US to offer treatments at CREO Clinic.
Dr. Del Vecchio is recognised as being one of the most experienced plastic fat transfer surgeons in the world. Throughout his extensive career, he has mastered the art of rejuvenating fat transfer procedures, emphasizing safe, natural-looking results while providing clear and supportive guidance throughout each patientโs treatment.
Using his advanced surgical skill, Dr. Del Vecchio performs a select number of fat transfer procedures, typically for breast fat transfer, fat transfer to the hands and facial fat grafting. Furthermore, his dedication to research regarding fat transfer surgeries has earned him the Tiffany Award for the best paper in aesthetic plastic surgery, and he has published numerous scientific articles focusing on safety in fat transfer procedures.
After being educated at Yale College and Harvard Medical School, he completed a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, working at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he gained extensive experience in facial anatomy and reconstructive techniques for congenital facial deformities, including cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Del Vecchio is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS). In addition to his surgical experience, he has written a textbook on gluteal fat grafting surgery and was a visiting professor for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).
